The Sydney Morning Herald Cole Classic

One of Australia's longest running and most prestigious ocean swims.

This iconic event is a challenge for people to swim a reasonable distance through the surf, taking courage and determination.

Held in conjunction with, and raising money for Manly LSC.

Both the 1km and 2km swims will start from Shelly Beach and finish at Manly Beach.

All finishers will receive a commemorative medal with the famous Cole plates awarded to category winners and place getters.

Event Type: Ocean Swim.
When: Sunday 7th February 2010.
Where: Manly & Shelly Beaches, South Steyne, Sydney Australia.
How to Enter: Online Entries are available now.
Online Entries Close: 27th January 2010 or until capacity is reached.
Late Entries: No race day registrations will be taken.
Race Start: 1km - 8.30am; 2km - 10am.
Presentation: To be confirmed. Will be held shortly after the last wave of the 2km event.
