Event Type: Mountain Bike Marathon.
When: Saturday 18th October 2008.
Where: Rummery Park, Nightcap National Park, Byron Bay, Australia.
How to Enter: Online & Download Entries.

Race Start: At 10am.
Race Registrations: On the day from 6am.
Race Briefing: 9.30am at the starting line.

Race Categories: Open to riders 14yrs and above. Note: 14-17yrs may only enter the 40k and 20k event.
18yrs+ can enter the 60km/40km/20km.
Solo Man/Women 14-17yrs, 18-29yrs, 30-39yrs, 40-49yrs, 50yrs+.
 
This is a fun and challenging 60km/40km/20km event open to anyone with a mountain bike. But you better do some training! Beginners, novices, veterans and elite riders are all invited to come out and enjoy a great day of riding/racing. All riders receive a catered lunch, $3000 in prizes. Top 3 in each category.

The Byron Bay Grand Prix criterium is part of the double cycling event weekend with the SOL Breads Rainbow Ride (Byron to Currumbin) cycle challenge on sunday. The criterium is set in a beautiful location in Byron Bay, just minutes away from the beach and bay offering scenic views of Julian Rocks, the Lighthouse and beyond. A great cycle race and spectator course where you can see the action unfold on a fast 800 metre course. A/B/C/D grade races.$5,000+ in prizes, cash and primes.

Byron Bay to Currumbin (Gold coast) 120km/66km events. One of the most beautiful and challenging rides in Australia from one stunning location to another. The SOL Breads Rainbow Ride cycle challenge goes through the Northern Hinterland known as the Rainbow region from Byron bay NSW through Murwillumbah to finish at Currumbin on the Gold coast in Queensland. All riders receive a catered lunch. $10000 in spot prizes and cash.

24hr/12hr/6hr Mountain Bike race. Emu Creek. Tabulam NSW. Australia. This is a fun event open to anyone with a mountain bike. But you better do some training! Beginners, novices, veterans and elite riders are all welcome. 7km course (25-35 minute approx). Trail surface is a combination fast clay (fire roads and Moto X track), sandy/fast hard clay/rocky sections (Enduro Moto X track). This is a fun course with banked corners in places and opportunities for airtime on the jumps and tabletops (if that's your motivation!).
